Quality of Life
As a community, we all want to enjoy a high quality of life. One of the biggest challenges we face is traffic congestion. By working together, we can find solutions that make our roads safer and more efficient. Additionally, we can encourage wholesome activities that bring people together and foster a sense community. Finally, we can encourage public involvement in decision-making processes to ensure that everyone's voice is heard.
Traffic Solutions
Some of the several completed traffic projects we've had while in office include the widening of Pennsylvania Ave, traffic light signal synchronization, protected left turn signals at multiple intersections, & repaving city streets.
Our ongoing traffic improvements which I strongly support include 2nd street extension to Pennsylvania, 60 freeway ramps at Potrero, Highland Springs & Oak Valley upgrades, & railroad crossing on Pennsylvania. I also support re-evaluating our truck routes through the city to improve traffic flow.
Parks & Rec
Kids and families need wholesome activities and I support our Parks & Recreation department in the upgrading of Stewart Park and our Sports Park. I approved upgrades for many of our city parks which include all inclusive play grounds, shade covers and other necessary upgrades. I will continue to support the many activities hosted by the city of Beaumont. I also see the need for a new community center and will strongly advocate for county, state and federal funding to help make it happen.
Public Engagement
We continue to improve our communication with our residents and I have been a loud voice and recruiter for Beaumont Citizens to get involved with their city. We want to hear your voice so come and help make Beaumont even better!
Veteran Support
As a US Army Veteran I am deeply grateful for those who have served their country and I will continue to pay tribute to their service and sacrifice by continuing to support our Veteran's Expo, Veteran's Day Parade & Celebration along with the remodel of our Veteran's and Fallen Heroes Memorial Plaza.
